Babassu Oil, Refined

O&3 presents Babassu Oil, Refined. The Brazilian born Babassu tree, this fruit is harvested post falling from the tree, it can fall from as high as 25m! The tree and harvest commonly occurs on the coastal regions of Brazil. The kernels are removed & taken to be cold pressed accordingly, we then refine it to clean the crude oil up into a useable state. Babassu oil has similar benefits to that of Coconut oil (it looks like coconut in a butter format), just more fastidious & more expensive! The kernel can contain up to 60% oil so its highly enriched in lots of goodness, notably its high saturated fat content. This product works superbly as a carrier oil, just a faint oily aroma so essential oils sit perfectly when blended with this Brazilian Babassu.
