Simply melt, add your chosen fragrances, colours, and additives, then pour into moulds.

The typical melting range for Melt & Pour Shea Solid Base is between 50–65°C depending on the specific formulation. We recommend melting using a bain-marie or microwave in short bursts, stirring frequently, and avoiding overheating to preserve the base's clarity, texture, and lathering properties. Yes - Melt & Pour Shea Solid Base is designed to accept fragrance oils, essential oils, cosmetic colorants, glitter, exfoliants, and botanicals. Essential oils and fragrance oils are typically added at 1–3% once the base has cooled to around 60°C. Ensure any additives are skin-safe and compatible with the base formulation.
