We like to shout about our work place and ethic; it’s so important to us to create a happy and positive working environment…
In our series, of ‘Life as an O&3 crew member’, we asked Darrin, our Production Operative about life at O&3…
- How long have you been working with O&3?
I came in right at the start when there was just an empty warehouse, no office and no kettle!
- What is your role at O&3?
I’m a Production Operative which means I get involved in weighing and measuring the oils and packaging them up ready for despatch. I also off load deliveries using one of our two forklift trucks and make sure everything is stored safely and easy to find.
- What is the best thing about your working environment?
It’s a mix of the environment; we are surrounded by open fields, but only 5 minutes from Ripon and also the A1; and the team, they’ve built up a really good team who actually care about the job and also their colleagues.
- Would you recommend O&3 as a great place to work?
Most definitely, everyone is really friendly and pitches in as and when needed to get the job done.
- What do you like to do in your spare time?
Since moving house earlier this year, my weekends have seemed to revolve around cutting grass or hedges… I’m hoping that now the weather is turning they will stop growing and leave me some time to get back to watching F1.
Thank you Darrin!
In a nutshell, we are people who love people!
We are a young, dynamic team always on the look-out for energetic and enthusiastic colleagues to join us.
O&3 is a roll-your-sleeves-up team: when the orders are piling high we all muck in together – we don’t do hierarchies! All we ask of you is diligence, attention-to-detail and a willingness to learn … oh and an ability to cope with our bad Yorkshire humour!
